M. Alexander Kintner,
Attorney and Counselor at Law
Attorney Alexander Kintner grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He completed his undergraduate studies at the College of Charleston, where he double majored in Political Science and Philosophy. Upon Graduation, Attorney Kintner attended Law School at the Quinnipiac University School of Law in Connecticut. During Law School, Attorney Kintner worked for the Orange County, CT, District Attorney's office, and also clerked for the Honorable Anderson D. Cromer, Elected Superior Court Judge of Stokes and Surry Counties.

Upon his graduation from Law School, Attorney Kintner returned to North Carolina, where he was admitted as a member of the North Carolina Bar in 2011. Since his admission to the bar, Attorney Kintner has handled thousands of cases, ranging from traffic tickets to Major Felony Criminal Defense. Attorney Kintner is a zealous advocate for his clients, and believes strongly in making sure their rights are protected. Attorney Kintner focuses all of his efforts on making sure his clients receive the best resolution possible in their case and successfully guiding them through the Court system.

Peyton H. Moore,
Attorney and Counselor at Law
Peyton grew up in Greenville, South Carolina and has strong family roots in eastern North Carolina. She is a graduate of Clemson University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, cum laude, with a minor in Business Administration.
After graduation, Attorney Moore attended Wake Forest University School of Law in Winston Salem, North Carolina. She worked extensively for the Brunswick County District Attorney’s office and for the Children’s Law Center of Central North Carolina. Attorney Moore received her J.D. from Wake Forest and was admitted as a member of the North Carolina Bar.

divorced family to inspire her.
Ms. Smith has extensive litigation experience and loves being in the courtroom but knows that Court is not always what is best for her clients. She is receptive to resolving disputes outside the courtroom when it makes sense to do so.
Ms. Smith was born and raised in North Carolina, and began practicing law in Raleigh in 2011 handling criminal defense. In 2012 she moved to
Wilmington to take an opportunity to focus her practice on her passion for family law. Along the way,
she has developed a reputation as one of the toughest and most respected lawyers in New Hanover and Brunswick counties.

Sydney Reynolds,
Attorney and Counselor at Law
Sydney is a Florida native but has lived in the Wilmington, North Carolina area for thirteen years. She attended Appalachian State University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with a concentration in Pre-Professional Legal Studies and a minor in Criminal Justice. She then earned her Juris Doctor from Campbell University's Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law and was admitted as a member of the North Carolina State Bar.

Prior to becoming a Lawyer, Sydney worked as law clerk and paralegal in in Law Firms handling Family Law, as well as the Department of Social Services. Her personal experiences drive her to make a difference in the lives of her clients by being their biggest advocate during some of their most difficult times.

Sydney represents clients in DWI (Driving While Impaired), criminal, and traffic matters in New Hanover County as well as in Pender County.

Michelle Rodriguez,
Legal Assistant
Although born in Long Island, New York, Michelle has spent the majority of her life here in Brunswick County, North Carolina. Michelle grew up in a multi-lingual household and speaks fluent Spanish.
​
After high school, Michelle went on to graduate from Cape Fear Community College, majoring in Business Administration.
​
In addition to providing legal assistant support to the Attorneys at Coastal South Law, Michelle provides interpreter services to ensure that Coastal South Law's Spanish-speaking clients are able to fully understand their legal situation and communicate effectively with their Attorney at all times.

Nicole Mason,
Paralegal
Nicole is originally from upstate New York, but has called North Carolina home for the past decade. She brings a strong legal background to the Coastal South Law team with an Associate's Degree in Paralegal Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Pre-Law.
Certified by the North Carolina State Bar, Nicole's expertise and commitment to the legal profession and our clients is well-established. Nicole focuses on providing excellent service and support in all matters of Family Law, including but not limited to: Divorce, Child Custody, Child Support, ​ Equitable Distribution, Alimony, Domestic Violence, and Separation Agreements

Nicole resides with her husband and two daughters, balancing her career with her role as a dedicated military spouse. Nicole's diverse personal and professional experience provides a unique and compassionate perspective to her work in the legal field, enriching her ability to offer empathetic and effective legal support.
Amanda Kidd,
Legal Assistant
Amanda was born in Michigan, grew up in Las Vegas, but has called the Carolinas her home for more than 20 years. Prior to joining the Team at Coastal South Law, Amanda spent 16 years in the Clerk of Court's office in both Cumberland and Brunswick County. Amanda is now supporting Coastal South Law with her extensive knowledge of criminal procedure, legal prowess, with a dedication to making sure that all clients of Coastal South Law are provided exceptional representation.
Robert P. Epstein,
Attorney and Counselor at Law

Robert is a 1996 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he received a B.A. in Psychology, cum laude. After graduation, Mr. Epstein worked for a political and policy consulting firm and a brief stint in state government as a health care policy analyst. In 1997 he returned to Chapel Hill for law school where he received his J.D. from UNC in 2000.
After law school, Robert worked as a policy consultant in the 2000 election cycle before being appointed an Assistant District Attorney for Brunswick, Bladen, and Columbus counties, where his work focused on DWI prosecution. While serving as Assistant District Attorney, Robert represented the State of North Carolina in hundreds of trials before judges and juries.
In 2003, Robert chose to enter private practice so he could put his experience to work defending clients charged with felonies, misdemeanors, traffic offenses and DWI in North Carolina State Courts.
Robert also received his certification in Superior Court Mediations and District Court Arbitrations and is currently performing both roles in addition to his criminal defense practice.
